Jay Hall, PhD., President
Jay Hall is the founder and principal of Jay Hall and Associates, Inc. Over more than 30 years Jay has developed, and worked with, a wide national network of green building experts and business alliances.
Jay started his career working on the U.S. EPA’s ENERGY STAR market transformation programs. For 15 years, he was actively involved in the development of the ENERGY STAR brand and has a practical in-depth understanding of both the development and implementation of voluntary sustainability programs. For 10 years, he led ICF Consulting’s team for ENERGY STAR for Homes. He also worked as a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Indoor Environment Division from 1994-2000.
In 2004, Jay was contracted by the U.S. Green Building Council to lead the development of the LEED for Homes program; from 2007-2009, Jay served as Acting Director of the national LEED for Homes program.
Jay has served on the Home Depot Foundation Awards of Excellence Selection Committee; the Habitat for Humanity International Partnership for Sustainable Buildings Advisory Committee; and, The Healthy House Institute Advisory Board. Jay is also a former LEED Faculty member.

Kim Hall, CPA
Kim holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland University College, and a BA in French from the University of Windsor. She has more than 30 years experience in accounting and financial management of small businesses. A certified public accountant, she has also worked in the public accounting and tax domain. As well as functioning as project assistant, Kim manages all financial and administrative matters at Jay Hall and Associates.
